I came across a video today; it was kids talking about the internet in the 90s.

“Hey! Why should I be on the internet? WHY?

Well, by the time we’re in college, the internet will be our telephone, television, shopping centre, and workplace. And it’s already got more stuff on it than you could possibly imagine.

In less than an hour, you can visit the planet Jupiter, visit the Sistine Chapel, do research on the rainforest, get soccer scores for a team in Italy…

It’s as much a part of the future as we are.

Shouldn’t everybody be on the internet?

YES!”

The Master Key to AI Wealth

Three decades later, the internet is so embedded in our lives that asking, “why aren’t you on the internet?” sounds as bizarre as asking “why aren’t you using electricity?” or “why aren’t you breathing air?

I watched that clip this morning and it immediately struck me because of the parallels with today.

Today, the exact same question should be asked about AI.

I actually do ask people that question. And the responses I imagine are the same kind of responses you’d have got in the 90s.

Oh, I don’t really need it. I don’t trust it. I think it’s dangerous. I don’t really know about it. I don’t know how.

And just like the internet in the 90s, AI right now to many people is just a novelty, a toy, a niche. A chatbot for kids to cheat on homework. A voice that makes your playlists. A gimmick to write emails.

A threat to our mental health.

Here’s the thing…

Fast-forward to 2055 (likely much sooner) and AI will be what the internet is today.

Infrastructure. Invisible. Everywhere.

Now it’s not often you get two chances at generational investment opportunities. And I’m sure those same people who were dismissive of the internet in the 90s would relish the chance to wind back the clock and invest in the key opportunities of the internet boom.

Well, today that chance does exist again. And yes, it’s going to be driven by AI as a technology. But it’s not just AI companies that make this happen.

In fact, there’s something even bigger beneath the surface that AI cannot exist without. Much like the internet cannot live without certain key foundations of its existence, AI cannot live without this Master Key.

Cast your mind back to 1995. The internet was noisy modems, Netscape browsers, and chatrooms. But if you had spotted Cisco, which built the routers that allowed all of this to exist, you could have minted life-changing wealth.

Even after the dot com boom and bust, 2008, 2020 you’d still be up 89,620% on Cisco. Yep, that turns £100 quid into £896,200.

It wasn’t the flashy dotcoms that created the real long-term fortunes. Pets.com and Webvan are footnotes in history. The companies providing the base level foundations of the infrastructure of the digital gold rush were the life changers.

Oracle was another. In hindsight it was obvious, but it took real conviction in the 90s to say, hey you know what, this is a foundation of the internet that’s going to be infrastructure of our future.

Around 392,000% gains later…

These companies soared because they provided a crucial aspect of the foundation layer of the internet that it could not live without.

They held a master key to the success and proliferation of the internet in our world.

The new “why aren’t you…” moment

I’m sitting here at my computer, Wi-Fi humming, streaming data from the other side of the planet in real time. I’m messaging people over four continents, streaming a football program on the smart TV in my office, and when I get a moment, I’m going to order some new school shoes for my son who’s going through a growth spurt.

The internet is my telephone, my television, my shopping centre, my workplace.

Those kids were right!

AI will reach that point. Soon enough, you won’t notice it’s there, because it’ll be in everything. Your car, your doctor, your kid’s schoolwork, your bank account, your home.

AI will be your assistant, your advisor, your confidant, your world guide, your inspiration, your connection to the digital world like never before.

And investors who plant their flag now? They’ll be the ones who tell stories to their kids about buying into the AI era before it became “as obvious as the internet.”

That’s where this idea of the “Master Key” comes in. I’m not talking about just guessing which of the big names like Nvidia, Microsoft, or OpenAI will dominate. I’m talking about finding the investment that could profit no matter who wins.

What is the foundation of AI that it simply cannot exist without?

My friend and colleague, Nick Hubble, is putting the final touches on a brand-new investment broadcast that reveals an overlooked $38 play he believes could go on to  quadruple, starting as soon as September 17.

He calls it the AI Master Key. And from what I’ve seen so far… he’s absolutely onto something. Keep an eye out – the full details are coming very soon.

But for now, just look at the patterns as they unfold,

  • In the dot-com era, Cisco was the master key. It didn’t matter which website took off; data still had to flow through routers.
  • In the first bitcoin boom, Nvidia was the master key. To operate Bitcoin miners, there was no other GPU as good as Nvidia ones.
  • In the rise of smartphones, it wasn’t a company, but a commodity… lithium. By owning the very materials used to make our high-tech world, investors captured value for decades.

Each time, there was a company (or sometimes a commodity) that underpinned the whole revolution.

Which brings us to today.

The biggest fortunes aren’t made by chasing the obvious winners. They’re made by spotting the infrastructure bets, the keys that unlock the whole system.

That’s why Nick Hubble’s upcoming broadcast on the AI Master Key has me intrigued. Not because it’s another hot stock tip—but because it’s about pinpointing the one investment set to benefit no matter which AI giant comes out on top.

History tells us there’s always a “master key” that unlocks decades of value from a massive technology revolution. The internet had one. Crypto had one. The “smart” device revolution had one. And AI will too.

The question is, will you be holding for those potential generational gains?

Until next time,
